Behind The Scenes- Zenavieve's Easter Session 2017
When Zenavieve was about 6 months old, we decided to do an Easter photo shoot for her first Easter. To this day, this is still one of our favorite shots!
So it became a tradition for us to do Easter photos every year.
This year we planned our shoot for a Saturday, ordered a new backdrop, called in a favor for some ducks and got to work. When you're a small family business like we are you work with what you have to get the job done. For us that means any studio shoot we do is usually in the biggest space we have available to us... our living room. This year, we decided to put together a little time lapse of us setting up for this session to give you all a little behind the scenes of what goes into setting up for our studio sessions.
Here is a behind the scenes shot of our whole setup next to the final photo being taken. In this shot you can see our new backdrop that we decided to try out for this session. We think it looks really pretty! What do you guys think?
Here are some more behind the scenes shots taken during our session, so you can see our photographer and subject in action.
We were also lucky enough to get our hands on cute little baby ducks named Mac n' Cheese thanks to Ben's awesome bro and sis in-law. The ducks actually cooperated much better than the child if you can believe it. :)
Zenna was so excited to take a bath with the ducks, that smile didn't last very long however, because those ducks got just as excited to be in the water and kept splashing her.
All in all it was a great day and a great shoot. We got some really fun shots and we hope you all love them too! Here are some of our favorites. If you would like to see the whole session click HERE.
